That final comment about how good a marine the Gunnery Sergeant was from Meg feels so disingenuous. She spent the whole episode interfering with and compromising the safety of the embassy, and turned out to be wrong on every count.

I recently re-watched "Clear and Present Danger" which came out a year before this. The street ambush scene looked very familiar to me. It wouldn't surprise me if they borrowed some of the footage from the movie.
